so very happy for you…

03.06.2023…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I created a card with “bits & pieces” that I had leftover from other projects that I’ve been working on recently. Even the embossed card base was a leftover, too. The only “new” elements I used were the tag (created with the Tailor Made Tags Dies and the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder), and the flowers (created with the Cottage Flowers Dies, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, and Blushing Bride ink). Hope this card inspires you to create a colorful, fun card or project using those “bits & pieces” that you have left on your craft desk, as well.

For this card, I started with some Smoky Slate Cardstock, embossed it with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Smoky Slate Cardstock base. Next, I cut out a piece of Texture Chic Designer Series Paper, and added a strip of Abigail Rose DSP. Tucked under the left edge of the DSP is a Basic White Thick Cardstock scalloped border, created with one of the dies from the Penned Flowers Dies. I then popped up the entire panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the next layer, I added a Basic White Thick Cardstock tag, cut out with one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies. After I embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, I popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the flowers, I used a Water Painter to add Blushing Bride ink to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I used two of the Cottage Flowers Dies to cut out the flowers. The sentiment (from the Color & Contour Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies, I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To add an extra bit of texture, I created a bow with White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Elegant Faceted Gems and For Everything Fancy Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
