the stamping station – something old, something new..

06.21.2026…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! Our Stamping Station Blog Hop this month is inspired by “Something Old, Something New”! Think weddings or the pairing of products, old and new … even if that old product has retired.

For my card, I used several patterns of Designer Series Paper. The older DSP collections that I used are the Country Woods DSP (my all-time fave), Brushed with Beauty DSP, Lovely Blossoms DSP. The newer DSP collections that I used are the Everyday Essentials Mix & Match DSP and the Mixed Up Patterns DSP.

I also used three die sets on this card. The older dies that I used are the Delicate Whispers Dies. I just had to use my favorite new dies as well…..Extraordinary Life Dies and Bordered in Beauty Dies.

You won’t want to miss any of this month’s projects!

So…..be sure to follow the link below to follow along on this blog hop with all of our amazing designers...

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I added several patterns of DSP, in a variety of sizes (listed from the bottom layer to the top layer): Mixed Up Patterns, Country Woods, and the Lovely Blossoms. I also used one of the Bordered in Beauty dies to cut out a curvy border (along the left side of the card) from the Country Woods DSP.

The notebook paper was created with one of the Extraordinary Life Dies, along with the Everyday Essentials Mix & Match DSP. I also used a Blending Brush to add Pool Party to the center of the notebook paper. To create the two hearts, I used one of the Extraordinary Life Dies, along with the Brushed with Beauty DSP.

To create the branches, I used two of the Delicate Whispers Dies, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock. For the green branches, I used a Blending Brush to add Soft Sea Foam, add some speckling, and then cut out the branches.

The sentiment (from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Country Woods DSP, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. To create the bow, I used Linen Thread. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Antique Pearls and Pressed Flower Motifs.

Wishing you creativity always,
