artisan joy – unofficial artisan 2026 hop…

08.18.2026…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! Welcome to the August 2026 Artisan Joy InstaHop! Today, members of the 2026 Stampin’ Up!® Artisan Design Team are celebrating the creativity, friendships, growth, and special moments that make being an Artisan such a meaningful experience.

As the application process opens for the 2027 Artisan Design Team, we hope this hop offers a little encouragement to everyone who dreams of becoming an Artisan. Applications are open to active Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators only. Your creativity, voice, and unique perspective matter—perhaps this is the year you take that brave step and apply!

For today’s hop, I created this card, using the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies. I also used the “I’m so grateful” sentiment from the Banner Sayings Stamp Set, which I thought was just perfect for the theme of the hop!

💛 What I Love About Being an Artisan 💛

This is my fourth year as a member of the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team, and I am beyond grateful for this amazing opportunity! Of course, being part of the team includes receiving a lots of free products throughout the entire year…..and who doesn’t love that! However, what means the most to me is the incredible inspiration, growth, learning, and friendship that I’ve experienced….which is absolutely priceless!

Be sure to hop along on @stampspaperscissors (my IG account), and see what these talented Artisans love most about this amazing experience!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder, and tore off the bottom edge. Layered underneath an on top of the embossed cardstock is Designer Series Paper from the following collections…..Everyday Essentials, Beautiful Ordinary Life, and Country Woods.

To create the leaves, I used the new Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies, a Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Roll, and Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. After I cut out the leaves, with the coordinating die, I used a Water Painter, along with following ink colors, to color the leaves: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Golden Glow, Soft Sea Foam, Mossy Meadow, and Pecan Pie.

The sentiment (from the Banner Sayings Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder.

To create the bows, I used Mossy Meadow & Very Vanilla 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots and Dewdrops Embellisments.

Wishing you creativity always,
