08.20.2026…..Happy Thursday, my stampin’ friends! Even though it’s still quite warm where I live, summer seems to be quickly fading away! So….I thought that I should make at least one more summertime card with the Rolling Waves Bundle. Of course, I had to add in a bit of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper as well. Hope this card inspires you to create some wonderful cards or projects with this wonderful bundle as well!
For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.
Across the center of the card, I added some Country Woods DSP, Lovely Blossoms DSP, and a Basic White Thick Cardstock scalloped border (created with one of the Bordered in Beauty Dies). Layered on top of that is a flag, created with the Country Woods DSP and one of the Party Banner Dies.
To create the starfish, shells, leaves, and waves, I used the Rolling Waves Dies, along with Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. To color all of the die cuts, I used a Water Painter along with the following ink colors: Barely Blush, Soft Sea Foam, Coastal Cabana,and Pecan Pie.
The sentiments (from the retired Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. To create the bow, I used White 3/8″ White Textured Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, Pearlized Faceted Circles, and Shimmering Dots.
