09.27.19…..Happy Friday, my friends! Yes, it’s time for another TGIF Challenge! And this week…..we are using Page 12 (Woven Threads Suite) of the Stampin’ Up 2019-2020 as our inspiration! The color combo (2019-2021 In Colors), layouts, Designer Series Paper, and accessories on this page are just gorgeous! We hope you have a chance to play along with us today! We would love to see what you create!
I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock Base, and added a strip of Woven Threads Designer Series Paper. To create the “frame”, I used two of the Stitched Rectangle Dies, along with a another piece of Woven Threads Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment (rom the Praiseworthy Prose Bundle) was heat-embossed on Whisper White Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and popped up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked underneath is a bit of Rose Metallic Thread and Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) To create the ruffles, I added small strips of Tear and Tape Adhesive. As I created little folds in the ribbon, I adhered it to the tape.) For my bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Woven Threads Sequins, a couple of gold Metallic Pearls, two 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots, and a gold Designer Element.
