Last month, I shared two cards that I created with the Ornate Garden Suite! This suite has sooooo many options for crafting and creating for all types of crafters…beginner, casual, and avid!  Besides the wonderful accessories in this suite, the stamp sets include lots of versatile phrases, and absolutely gorgeous floral images. The die sets include beautiful filigree shapes and super versatile frames. You’re going to love it!!! Check out all of the amazing samples from our March blog hop here!

Customers will be able to purchase products from the Ornate Garden Suite from April 1 – May 31, 2020.

This “early release” is for a limited time only, so be sure you to place your order today!

Today,  I’m super excited to share three more projects that I created with the Ornate Garden Suite…a treat holder, a 3′ x 3″ card, and a gift tag!  I’ve also included complete instructions underneath each card, so you can scroll right to the card that suits your fancy and start creating!

Let’s start with the festive treat holder…

ornate-garden-treat-holder-youre-amazing-by-tammy-c.-wilsonFor this little treat holder, I started with a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock and cut it out with one of the Ornate Layers Dies(I used the die that is approximately 5-3/8″ x 4″.)  I then scored it twice, in the middle, at approximately 2-1/4″ and 3-1/8″.  To cover the outside of the treat holder, I added a piece of Ornate Garden Speciality Designer Series Paper (approximately 3-1/4″  x 5″.  On top of that, I also added a 1-1/2″ x 5″ strip of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.

To decorate the treat holder, I used one of the Ornate Borders Dies to cut out the rose-colored flowers from another piece of the Ornate Garden Speciality DSP(I also trimmed of bits of the leaves and stems, so that it would fit onto the treat holder.)  For the Gold Glimmer Paper flowers, I used the little flower die from the Ornate Borders Dies.

The sentiments (from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set) were heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock (using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder), and then cut out and popped up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For a bit of extra texture and bling, I added some Ornate Garden Ribbon, and a few of the Gilded Gems. (To close the treat holder, I added a couple of tiny Velcro Dots on the inside.)

To create a simpler version of this treat holder:  You can skip the die cut DSP flowers, and the Gold Glimmer Flowers.  The sentiments can also just be stamped with a Whisper White Craft Pad, instead of heat-embossing them.

Next up is the little 3″ x 3″ card….

ornate-garden-3-x-3-card-thanks-by-tammy-c.-wilsonFor my 3″ x 3″ card, I started with a 3″ x 6″ piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock (folded in half) and created a border on the bottom edge using one of the Ornate Borders Dies.  For an extra pop of color, I tucked a small strip of Ornate Garden Speciality DSP on the bottom inside edge.  I then layered on a small piece of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.

To decorate the card, I used one of the Ornate Borders Dies to cut out the rose-colored flowers from another piece of the Ornate Garden Speciality DSP(I also trimmed of bits of the leaves and stems, so that it would fit onto the card.)  For the Gold Glimmer Paper flowers, I used the little flower dies from the Ornate Borders Dies.

The sentiments (from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set) were heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock (using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder), and then cut out and popped up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of texture and bling, I tucked some Ornate Garden Ribbon underneath the sentiment, and a few of the Gilded Gems.

To create a simpler version of this card:  You can skip the die cut DSP flowers, and the Gold Glimmer Flowers.  The sentiments can also just be stamped with a Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Pad, instead of heat-embossing them.

And last, but certainly not least, is the little gift tag…

ornate-garden-gift-tag-thankful-by-tammy-c.-wilsonFor the gift tag, I started with a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock and cut it out with one of the Ornate Layers Dies. On top of that, I added a strip of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I then added a narrow strip of Ornate Garden Speciality DSP, which I cut along the bottom edge with one of the Ornate Borders Dies. To decorate the tag, I used one of the Ornate Borders Dies to cut out the rose-colored flowers from another piece of the Ornate Garden Speciality DSP(I also trimmed of bits of the leaves and stems, so that it would fit onto the tag.)  For the Gold Glimmer Paper flowers, I used the little flower dies from the Ornate Borders Dies.

The sentiments (from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set) were heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock (using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder), and then cut out and popped up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of extra texture and bling, I added some Ornate Garden Ribbon, White Baker’s Twine, and a few of the Gilded Gems.

To create a simpler version of this gift tag:  You can skip the die cut DSP flowers, and the Gold Glimmer Flowers.  The sentiments can also just be stamped with a Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Pad, instead of heat-embossed.

  1. What a rich, opulent collection! The touches of black are brilliant. They enhance the luxuriousness of the rest.
