#tgifc265- hooray for you…

Time for Tags - Hooray by Tammy C. Wilson (watermark)05.22.20…..Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week, we have have a super fun theme challenge for you…Travel! That’s right, my stampin’ friends, it’s time to out your planes, trains, automobiles, and more……..and get inspired along with us! I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week, over at TGIF Challenges. We would love to see what you create!

For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and used a Stamping Sponge (along with my Coastal Cabana Classic Stampin’ Pad) to add a subtle bit of color. After I embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, I added some speckling as well.  (I “flicked” the thick end of my Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Marker against the marker cap to create the speckling.) I then layered another piece of Whisper White Cardstock underneath, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.

I used the Stitched Nested Labels to cut out a small piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and tucked a few strands of Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon underneath it. (I cut the piece of ribbon in half, and pull out just the couple of strands that I needed.) Layered on top of that is a small strip of Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, which I notched at each end.  I then used one of the Well Written Dies (along with some Whisper White Cardstock) to cut out the bunch of stems and leaves.

The hot air balloon (from the Time for Tags Host Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Shimmery White Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  To color the image, I used my Aqua Painter (along with Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay, and Granny Apple Green).  After the image was dry, I punched it out with the coordinating Timeless Label Punch, and popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The little Silver Glimmer heart was cut out with one of the Stitched Labels Dies, and popped up with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.  For an extra bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Iridescent Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
