10.25.20…..Happy Sunday, everyone! I can’t believe that October has almost come to a close! And…..it’s already time for another Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! For this Sunday’s hop, we are featuring “Over the Top Christmas” cards and projects! We hope you have a chance to hop along with us today! You won’t want to miss any of the wonderful projects created by our amazing designers!
Today, I’m sharing two projects that I’ve created with the Festive Post Stamp Set and coordinating Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch. I’ve also included complete instructions underneath each card, so you can scroll right to the card that suits your fancy and start creating!
Let’s start with the Christmas card…
I started with some Whisper White Cardstock, embossed it with one of the Little Details Embossing Folders, and adhered it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. On top of that, I layered a smaller piece of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper. I then cut out another piece of Whisper White Cardstock, using one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I heat-embossed several little snowflakes (from the Festive Post Stamp Set), using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I added some subtle color over the snowflakes, using Pool Party and a Sponge Dauber. Before I adhered it to the card base with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, I tucked a small piece a Square Vellum Doily underneath.

I stamped the reindeer (from the Festive Post Stamp Set) in Early Espresso on Whisper White Cardstock, and punched it out with the coordinating Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch. I also stamped a few snowflakes (from the Festive Post Stamp Set) in Pool Party (“stamped off” once). To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of my Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker against the edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards my paper. Underneath, I layered some Real Red Cardstock, also punched out with the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch. Before I popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added a bit of distressed Real Red Braided Linen Trim.
I stamped the sentiment (also from the Festive Post Stamp Set) in Early Espresso, cut it out, and popped it up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I added a couple of Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and an Elegant Faceted Gem.

Next up is my little gift box…
I started Acetate Card Box and adhered a Square Vellum Doily to the top of the box. On top of that, I layered a smaller piece of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, and some Whisper White Cardstock that I embossed with one of the Little Details Embossing Folders, I then added a bow that I created with Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, along with a bit of distressed Real Red Braided Linen Trim.
