bird’s eye view – CASE’d my cards…

07.24.2023…..Happy Monday everyone! Yes…..I continue to be obsessed with the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set, so of course I had to CASE my own little 3″ x 3″ patriotic cards thatI posted on July 4th! It is just such a fun, whimsical set, and you can personalize for any occasion by adding your favorite sentiments. Hope these little cards inspire you to create some of your own cards or projects as well!

For both of my 3″ x 3″ cards, I stamped the birds (from the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set) with my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. To color each of the birds, I used the following Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs…..Bubble Bath, Petal Pink, and Gray Granite. Underneath each little bird is a Basic White Thick Cardstock branch, created with one of the dies from the Textured Floral Dies.

To add some extra pops of color, I used the Subtles 6″‘ X 6″ DSP. I also embossed the Basic White Cardstock backgrounds with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (for the “let’s celebrate” card) and the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (for the “happy” card).

The sentiments (from the Sentimental Park and the Circle Sayings Stamp Sets) were heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For an extra bit of texture, I added a Linen Thread bow underneath each little bird. To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pastel-Adhesive Backed Sequins, Tinsel Gems (Four Pack) and Iridescent Pastel Gems.
