thanks for everything…

06.07.2026…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! Barely Blush is my absolute favorite color from the new 2026-2028 In Color collection! For an unexpected twist, I decided pair it with the Gears & Textures Bundle and the Delicate Whispers Dies. Hope this card inspires you to add an unexpected twist to your cards and projects as well!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, and adhered it to a Barely Blush Cardstock base. Next, I cut out some Barely Blush Cardstock with the Eyelet Blooms Die, and tore off the bottom edge. To create the background, I used several of the stamps from the Gears & Textures Bundle, along with Barely Blush, Soft Sea Foam, and Gray Granite Classic Stampin’ Pads. I then added some speckling with a Light Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Marker. Next, I tore off the bottom edge, and distressed the other edges of the cardstock as well. I also used a Water Painter to splatter some water droplets. The “chain” and the “mesh” die cuts were cut out from Basic White Thick Cardstock, using the Gears & Textures Dies. I also distressed a Gold Foil Sheet with a nail buffing block, and cut out another chain to layer under the first one.

To create the branches and flowers, I used Blending Brushes to add Soft Sea Foam and Coastal Cabana to Basic White Thick Cardstock. Next, I used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets, and dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool. I then used the Delicate Whispers Dies to cut out the branches and flowers.

The sentiment (from the Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. For a little extra texture, I create a bow with Barely Blush 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Antique Pearls.

Wishing you creativity always,
