05.19.2024…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! For our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop this month, we are showcasing projects created with “something old” (featured in the previous Stampin’ Up! 2023-2024 catalogs) and “something new” (featured in the current Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog). For my “something old” , I used the Textured Floral Stamp Set and Textured Floral Dies. For my “something new”, I used two of the new 2024-2026 In Colors…..Pretty in Pink and Petunia Pop. Hope this card inspires you to create a fun, unique card using this week’s challenge!

For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Petunia Pop Cardstock base.
Next, I stamped the flowers (from the Textured Floral Stamp Set) in a Pretty in Pink Classic Stampin’ Pad, and “stamped off” once. I then used a Sponge Dauber to add a bit of Petunia Pop to the image, spritzed the stamp with a Stampin’ Spritzer (filled with water), and then stamped the image on Basic White Thick Cardstock. I used the same steps for the leaves (also from the Textured Florals Stamp Set), using a Soft Sea Foam Classic Stampin’ Pad, and then an Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I cut out the flowers and leaves with the Textured Florals Dies. I then used a Water Painter, along with White Craft Ink, to splatter the flowers and leaves. After I dried them once again with a Heat Tool, I popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment (from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tucked underneath the sentiment is Silver & White Sheer Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise), and adhered to the back of the sentiment with Tear & Tape Adhesive. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
Wishing you creativity always,
