beautiful ordinary life 3 x 3 cards…

05.22.2026…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! The Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite is one of my favorite collection of products ever! I have used this suite for so many projects, and I couldn’t wait to create a few 3 ” x 3″ cards with it! Hope these little cards inspire you to create cards or projects with this amazing suite!

For each 3″ x 3″ card, I used a variety of patterns from the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper. I also used the DSP, along with the “notebook paper” die from the Extraordinary Life Dies. To create the scalloped border, I used Basic Black Cardstock, along with one of the Bordered in Beauty Dies.

To create the branches, I used Blending Brushes to add Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then cut out the branches with one of the Fern & Flora Dies. The tiny leaves were die cut from a Gold Foil Sheet (distressed with a nail buffing block), using one of the Extraordinary Life Dies.

The butterflies and flowers were heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Black Embossing Powder. To color the images, I used a Water Painter, along with Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Coastal Cabana. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

The sentiments (from the Banner Sayings Stamp Set) wer heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. For a little extra texture, I added a Linen Thread to each card. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pearlized Faceted Circles and Sunset Sparkle Sequins.
