04.03.20…..Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week, we have have a super amazing color challenge for you…Rainbow! That’s right, my stampin’ friends, it’s time to get out every color under the rainbow, get inspired along with us….and just go crazy!!! I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week, over at TGIF Challenges. We would love to see what you create!
For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and used a Stamping Sponge, along with my Coastal Cabana Classic Stampin’ Pad, to add a subtle bit of color. I also used the “buy the shoes” sentiment (from the Dressed to Impress Bundle) and stamped it randomly across the background, with my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. (Some I stamped normally, and some I “stamped off” once.) After I embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, I added some speckling as well. (I “flicked” the thick end of my Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Write Marker against the marker cap to create the speckling.) I then layered some Basic Black Cardstock underneath, and popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the shoes (also from the Dressed to Impress Bundle) with my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad on Whisper White Thick Cardstock, and cut them out with the coordinating die from the Dressed to Impress Bundle. I used my the following Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Packs to color the shoes: Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, and Highland Heather. I tucked some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around and underneath the shoes and popped them up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. To decorate the shoes, I used a few of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
