04.10.20…..Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week, we have have a super fun sketch challenge for you! That’s right, my stampin’ friends, it’s time to get your creative juices flowing, get inspired along with us….and just go crazy!!! I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week, over at TGIF Challenges. We would love to see what you create!
For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and used a Stamping Sponge, along with my Petal Pink Classic Stampin’ Pad, to add a subtle bit of color. After I embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, I added some speckling as well. (I “flicked” the thick end of my Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend Marker against the marker cap to create the speckling.) After I layered a slightly larger piece of Petal Pink Cardstock underneath, I used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Gray Granite Cardstock base. I then added a strip of Neutrals 6′ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, as well as a tiny strip of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment (from the Well Said Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Whisper White Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out with one of the All Dressed Up Dies, I popped it up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For some extra texture, I added some Linen Thread and a bit of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (cut in half vertically). To add some bling, I sprinkled on a few Frosted Flower Embellishments and gold Metallic Pearls.
