Today, I’m sharing a three projects that I created with the Flowers for Every Season Suite…a greeting card, a gift tag, and a mini canvas wall hanging.  I’ve also included complete instructions underneath each project, so you can scroll right to the project that suits your fancy and start creating!

Let’s start with the “congratulations” card…

I started with a piece of Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper, layer a small strip of Whisper White Cardstock underneath, and adhered it to a Gray Granite Cardstock base.  I then stamped the large sunflower (from the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle) three times on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  I stamped them in Gray Granite, and “stamped off” once each time I stamped a sunflower.  I then used my Bumblebee Classic Stampin’ Pad, along with a Sponge Dauber, to add a bit of color to the center of each sunflower.  I also added a bit of speckling with my Gray Granite Stampin’ Write Marker, by flicking the thick end of the marker on the edge of the marker cap.  After I embossed the paper with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder, I adhered it to the card base.

WilsonI then die cut a small piece of Whisper White Cardstock (using one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies), used the Jar Punch (from the Jar of Flowers Bundle) to punch out the center, and adhered a Mason Jar Shaker Dome underneath. Before I adhered this to the card base, I added a small piece of Shimmery White Cardstock underneath, to create the “water” for the jar.  I used Misty Moonlight, along with my Aqua Painter, to watercolor the paper, Once the paper was dry, I stamped the Misty Moonlight diagonal stripe pattern, from the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle…and a few of the stripes were “stamped off”.  I also die cut a couple of  little Gray Granite Cardstock branches (using two of the dies from the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle), and then embossed them with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

Flowers for Every Season - Celebrate Sunflowers - Card - watermark by Tammy C. Wilson (zoom)I stamped the small sunflower (from the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle) in Gray Granite (“stamped off” once), and cut it out with one of the dies from the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle.

The sentiment (from the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle) was stamped on Whisper White Cardstock (using my Gray Granite Stampin’ Write Marker to color the sentiment), cut out, and adhered with a few Mini Glue Dots.  For a bit of texture, I added a bow using Linen Thread and Misty Moonlight Baker’s Twine (from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack).

Up next, is the little gift tag…

Flowers for Every Season - Celebrate Sunflowers - Tag by Tammy C. Wilson (watermark)I started with a a little piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, and cut it out with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, and added a subtle bit of Misty Moonlight using a Sponge Dauber.  I also added a bit of speckling with my Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker, by flicking the thick end of the marker on the edge of the marker cap, and embossed it with with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.

The sunflowers (from Jar of Flowers Bundle) were heat-embossed on Gray Granite Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  After I fussy cut the sunflowers, I colored them (using my Aqua Painter) along with Bumblebee, Misty Moonlight and Gray Granite.  On top of that, I added a small strip of Flowers for Every Season DSP. The sentiment (from the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle) was stamped in Gray Granite on Whisper White Cardstock, cut out, and popped up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For a bit of bling, I added a few of the Flowers for Every Season Gems.  At the top of the tag, I punch a small oval (using the Detailed Trio Punch), and added some Linen Thread, Misty Moonlight Baker’s Twine and Whisper White  Faux Linen Ribbon (both from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack).  (The Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon was cut in half vertically, before I created the the bow.)

And, my third project is the mini canvas wall hanging…

Flowers for Every Season - Celebrate Sunflowers - Canvas by Tammy C. Wilson (watermark)I started with a  3″ x 3″ mini canvas, purchased at a local craft store.  I added a very light mist of water to the canvas, using my Stampin’ Spritzer.  I added a wash of color to the canvas, using my Aqua Painter…along with Bumblebee and Misty Moonlight. After the canvas was dry, I added a Gray Granite Cardstock sunflower (using one dies from the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle). For a bit of bling, I added several of the Flowers for Every Season Gems around the center of the sunflower.  I also created a hanger for the canvas, using some of the Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

  1. Fabulous from first to last! The Gray Granite is a great choice. Love the way you’ve made that extravagant bow for the tag.
