very versailles (#gdp201)…

08.05.19…..Happy Monday, everyone! Today, I’m sharing the card that I created as my Guest Designer Color Challenge card, over at the Global Design Project (#GDP201) this week. The color combo for this challenge is Mossy Meadow, Merry Merlot, and Pretty Peacock. I’ve been using a lot of subtle color combos lately. So…. it was a fun change to design a card using these rich, fall colors…..along with the Very Versailles stamp set!

always grateful…

08.02.19…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It is really August already? Really??? Where did June and July go? Nevertheless, no matter what month of the year it is, it is always a good time to stamp! And….there is never not a good time to let someone know how much you appreciate them! That being said, I created the thank you card, using another watercolor background technique, which by the way I seem to be a little obsessed with at the moment. Hope you enjoy it!

chalkboard blessings…

07.27.19…..Welcome to the weekend, my stampin’ friends! Hope you’ve had a chance to do something creative this week. Some of my creativity the last couple of weeks has been inspired by the Stitched Rectangle Dies. They are so versatile, and just perfect for cutting out sentiments and stamped images. However, I’ve also been having a great time using these dies to create mini frames for my cards and projects. That being said, I thought it would be fun to create a framed “chalkboard” for today’s card.
always thinking of you…

07.19.19…..Happy Friday, everyone! The weekend is almost here, and summer is heating up quickly in Northern California! Time for trips to the lake, outdoor barbeques, and…..linen. Linen…huh??? I love to wear cool, linen clothing when then temperatures starting climbing and that, my stampin’ friends, was the inspiration for this card. Subtle shades, neutral colors, linen-like textures, and even Linen Thread were incorporated into this design. Hope you enjoy it!
