We love bringing you weekly paper-crafting inspiration, and are so excited to have you join us in this week for a Sale-A-Bration Inspiration Challenge! We are so excited about this week’s challenge! There’s some absolutely wonderful stamp sets, papers, and even dies that you can choose as your free gift with an order of $50+ or more in Stampin’ Up products! The Sale-A-Bration item I choose to use for this card is the Be Dazzling Speciality Paper. I just love the sparkle that it added to the two little trees, which I cut out with two of the dies from the Whimsical Trees Bundle.

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then used a Sponge Dauber to add a swirl of Misty Moonlight to another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. I also added some speckling, using my NIght of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards the cardstock. I then used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a slightly larger piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, and adhered the entire panel to the card base with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The tree (from the Whimsical Trees Bundle) were stamped in Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, and Pear Pizzazz. Before I stamped the image on the cardstock, I used a Sponge Daubers to add the three ink colors to the stamp. I then cut it out with the coordinating die from the same bundle, and popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the two little trees, I used the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (from the current Sale-A-Bration catalog), along two of the dies from the Whimsical Trees Bundle.
The sentiment (also from the Whimsical Trees Bundle) was heat-embossed on Magenta Madness Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tucked the trees, are some fibers that I pulled from some Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon. For a bit of bling, I added a few of the Artistry Blooms Sequins.
