10.08.2021…..Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week’s TGIF Challenge is “Sketch Challenge”! That’s right, my friends…we have a wonderful, creative sketch to inspire you and get those creative juices flowing! Hope this inspires to create to your heart’s content! We would love to see what you create!
For this card, I started with a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then used another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, and used a Blending Brush to add a few swirls of Coastal Cabana. After I embossed the cardstock with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, I added some speckling with my Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Marker. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards the cardstock.
To create the flowers, I used Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, along with the Meadow Dies. To color the flowers, I used a Water Painter…..along with Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sea Foam, and Bermuda Bay.
The sentiment (from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Coastal Cabana Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tucked underneath the sentiment is a Linen Thread bow. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins and gold Metallic Pearls.
