05.23.19…..Happy Friday, stampers! The 2019 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog and the 2019 Occasions Catalog will both be expiring in less than two weeks…on June 3rd. I know…it’s hard to believe, right? There are so many fun stamps sets and accessories in these catalogs, many of which will be retiring. So…if there are any retiring products that are still on your wishlist, you’ll want to order them as soon as possible!

That being said, I’m so excited that the Piece of Cake stamp set (used to create this card), along with coordinating Cake Builder Punch, will be carried over to the upcoming 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! 5.06.2019…..Welcome to Monday, everyone!  I have to admit that I had a wonderful time creating my Lovely as a Tree frame yesterday.  So…..I figured why not create another framed project with the Lovely as a Tree set, but this time in an unexpected color combo.  I really wanted to switch things up, so I decided to Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, and Melon Mambo.  Hope y’all enjoy it!

05.05.19…..The latest Paper Pumpkin kit (Sentimental Rose), has such a versatile stamp set, as well as beautifully designed cards, elements, and accessories.  I’ve really enjoyed making several projects from this “rosy” kit!

I absolutely love the gorgeous “Distinktive” flower stamp that is included in this kit, so I thought I would combine it with some other fun Stampin’ Up products and accessories.  While Stampin’ Up has sooooooo many wonderful bundles, suites, paper and accessories that are specially designed to be used together, I also truly enjoy “cross-coordinating” and mixing different styles and themes together with one another.    And that, my stamping friends, is the inspiration for this card…..

04.28.19…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends!  Those of you that follow my blog know that I really enjoy creating cards, but I absolutely love creating home decor projects as well.  That being said, I decided to use this month’s Sentimental Rose Paper Pumpkin kit to create this floral, shabby-chic inspired banner.  The pre-printed images in this Paper Pumpkin kit are absolutely wonderful!  The roses and flowers are beautifully detailed, and the watercolor-inspired layering cards base add such a pretty pastel effect.

04.28.19…..I had so much fun playing with the new April 2019 Sentimental Rose Paper Pumpkin kit this weekend!  It is such a gorgeous kit, and it incorporates some of my favorite Stampin’ Up colors…..Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, and Mint Macaron!  With so many special events popping up this time of year…..graduations, weddings, baby showers, and of course Mother’s Day…..this kit is truly a life saver and a time saver!  With just a few extra accessories, I was able to create these three projects, as well as several others.  You’ll also want to check out my Paper Pumpkin and Roses post, to see the shabby chic banner that I created with this kit as well.

04.14.19…..Happy Sunday, everyone!  It’s was such a gorgeous Spring day today….for a couple of precious hours.  Now…..the rain clouds are moving in, so I figured it’s another good day to stay inside, and do some crafting and creating.  That being said, I wanted to take the time to share this “shabby chic-inspired” card with you this morning.  The Tin Tile Embossing Folder made its debut in the 2018 Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog, and I used to for quite a few projects back then.  So…..I thought I pull it out once again to create a background for this card.  Luckily, this embossing folder is a carry-over item.  If you don’t have it yet, I know you’ll want to order it as soon as possible!

03.24.19…..Happy Sunday everyone!  We’ve still been having some lingering winter weather this past week, but today we had another wonderful Spring day!  Once again, this beautiful weather has inspired me to create a Spring-themed card.  And…..what a better way to gather some extra inspiration than from this week’s Global Design Project – Color Challenge (#GDP181).  This week’s color trio was Grapefruit Grove, Lemon Lime Twist, and Daffodil Delight.  Such a bright, cheery combo……love, love, love!!!

03.17.19…..Today is a gorgeous, “almost-Spring” day where I live….high 60’s, clear skies, and sunshine!  It doesn’t get much better than that!  That being said, it put me in the mood to create some Spring cards, so I decided to pull out my Varied Vases stamp set.  I also paired it with some of the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, to pull in some of those soft pastel shades.
